SCOTTISH COLLIE CLUB
APRIL OPEN SHOW 2010
On behalf of the Committee of the Scottish Collie Club I would like to thank everyone that attended our open show on Sunday the 4th April. I would also like to thank our judge Pauline Crozier for doing the honour of judging our show. She had a reasonable entry with some absentees. Being Easter Sunday a lot of people were on holiday, but still the show was very well attended with both exhibitors and many spectators who had read the add in the paper and came along to watch, some also brought their dogs with them, they were very pleased when they were allowed to bring them into the show, not to enter but to watch, they ended up staying all day, they thanked the committee for their very kind hospitality and help. I would also like to thank Royal Canin for sponsoring our show it is very much appreciated, Edwina Saunders for judging the junior handling also everyone that gave donations for rosettes, raffle and for the kitchen, thank you very much.
Our Championship show will soon be on us and all the schedules are out, just waiting on them to be returned. The venue at Bo-Ness Recreation Centre has a limited number of seats so I would advice you to bring your own.
The committee has decided to hold a Christmas Party this year for our members, you will hear more about this later on in the year; I can tell you it is to be held on the 12th December 2010 at Carronshore Community Centre.
The Scottish Collie Club wish to send their condolences to Gavin Duncan and his family on the death of Margaret his loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed.
