SCOTTISH COLLIE CLUB

OPEN SHOW SUNDAY 8th APRIL 2007   

First I would like to thank everyone that entered our show and to everyone that came along to watch. The entry was not one of our best but all those that were there said that they had a great day. Our judge was Lesley Robinson ( Aintshe ) the main winners were Best Dog and Res Best in Show ; C. Hodson's CATHBRI STARLIGHT EXPRESS. Best Bitch and Best is Show was V. & P.Sibbald's LYNMEAD LOVE ME TOO AT TELFORTH J.W. Reserve Best Bitch Mrs. A. McCann's ZOLKHAN JUST A DREAM. Best Puppy Mr & Mrs. Szmitz's LEVERBANK CRICKEY SHE'S CUTE well done to all of you and well done to everyone that was placed. On looking back at our December open show our main winners that day were also CATHBRI STARLIGHT EXPRESS AND LYNMEAD LOVE ME TOO AT TELFORTH and the placings were the same with the dog getting best dog and res best in show and the bitch  getting best bitch and best in show.I would also like to thank all that gave donations towards Rosettes, thank you to Bill and Joan for the bottle of whisky that they donated for the raffle a big thank you to everyone else that I may have missed. As I have said the show went well everyone spoke to everyone and a good day was had by all, hope to see you all again at our Collie of the Year on the 28th April at the Tinto Hotal Lanark and at our Ch. Show on the 3rd June, at the Agricultural Centre Lanark were our judges will be Dogs Mrs. L.D. Jones ( Erjon ) and bitches Mr. D. McSeveney ( Fortissat )  the referee Mr J. Walker. I would also like to thank all the committee for working so hard with out them there would be no show, thank you.

We have had a sad start to the year with the deaths of two of our members Mrs. Jean Paul and Mrs. Elizabeth Main they will both be missed at our shows and our sympathies go to their families. Mrs. Peggy McAdam fell and broke her hip and she was in hospital for some weeks, she is now home and well on the road to recovery we all send her our good wishes and wait to see her back at both the SCC  and the ACC shows.
