OPEN SHOW

SUNDAY 6th APRIL 2008

Dear Members,

I would like to thank you all for coming and supporting our show, the weather in the morning was heavy snow and we did not expect so many of you to turn up but being true collie folk you did, no matter what the weather we brave it all. The show went really well, I have had quite a few e-mails saying how well organized it was, so may I take this opportunity to thank every  one for their very kind comments, it is always good to hear back from you, be it good or bad we want to please our members. The e-mails that I got would also like to thank the judge Mrs. Beryl Pitchfork for excellent job that she done, they said that she was a very fair and honest judge, so from the club and it's members thank you Beryl for such an enjoyable day.

As I have said the weather kept a few away but the entry on the day was still very good.   Best Puppy Bitch& Best Puppy in show was Mr. & Mrs. Iley's ILEYDA GOLD SATIN. Best Puppy Dog was Mr. & Mrs. Walker's STARLENGA THE WICKER MAN. Best Dog Miss McCann's ROANBURN BLACK IS BACK AT ZOLKHAN, he was also Res. B.I.S.   Res Best Dog went to Mr. & Mrs. Hartley's ROANBURN SIMPLY RED J.W.  Best Bitch and B.I.S. was Franks' DANFREBEK TRULY MADY DEEPLY WITH ALANIT J.W .  Res. Best Bitch  was Mrs. Fort's DANFREBEK BE DAZZLED,    well done and congratulations to all of you, and well done to very one that was placed at our show. Congratulation to the Master Thomson on winning the Best Junior hander with STEELHURST SECRET PASSION AT LOMONDVALE. I and the committee look forward to seeing you at out Championship Show on 1st June at Lanark, before then we shall see many of you at our Scottish Collie of the Year on the 26th April at the Tinto Hotel, Lanark.

Before I go may I thank Cath Topham for all her help at the show it is very much appreciated.
