SCOTTISH COLLIE CLUB

2008-06-01

My thanks to the committee for a lovely day and also to those exhibitors who entered their bitches.

One of the things that surprised me most, were the amount of collies with broad backskulls and very low set ears. The correct collie expression cannot be achieved unless ears are correctly placed on the top of the head, but overall, I was very pleased with my winners.

MINOR PUPPY

1st Fort’s Shulune Sucha Delight

Just my type lovely arched neck into good shoulders, correct length of back, and excellent bend of stifle which caused her to stand a little slack this will improve with age. Her expression is very nice, well placed almond eye, good flat skull and well set ears. Moved well. Lovely presentation. Should have a bright future

2ndMcCann’s Zolkhan Miss Moneypenny

Lovely shaded baby of just 6 months, excellent conformation, nice head and eye, ears well placed. Very well presented. Just a bit overwhelmed by the occasion. Will do well when she settles.

Res CC BPB and on the referees decision BPIS

Lovely sable: has a super outline her head is correct and she has a very typical collie expression, moved well coming and going. Presentation was first class; I would’ve loved to have seen her shown free, as I feel being strung up spoiled the overall picture.

Deserves to be in the upper house. Pleased to award her the CC.
