Irish Circuit Shows 2005

The Irish Circuit started thus year on Saturday 20th Augusts with the Navan Show.   This show is not infact part of the circuit, the circuit starts with the Clonmel Show.

It was nice to see all our Scottish friends there, Dave & Edith, Eileen, Ella & Ruth, Alyson & her mum (Jean), Jean, April & Hilary, Charles and myself.

Eileen Forrest was the first of the winners at Navan where she took Green Star Bitch, Janette Phillips took Res. Breen Star Bitch.  Congratulations to all other exhibitors that won.

The Rough Collie Club of Ireland held their Show at the Navan Show, although there was no major prize winners I would like to congratulate Louise Wilson on her wins with her puppy, handled by Dave.  Louise was not on the circuit this year but did fly over for the Collie Show at the end.

Clonmel Show saw April Anderson take Green Star Dog.   Well done to everyone else.  

Killarney Show saw another Scottish traveller Dave Thomson take Res. Green Star Bitch.

Limerich Show, well what can I say about it, well it rained everything was covered in mud.  Although there were no major wins everyone was placed, well done to you all for showing your dogs in such weather, a credit to everyone their dogs were presented in top condition, all groomed and clean a big well done to everyone.

Tralee Show again no major wins but plenty places.  Well done to all.

I was not able get to the Collie Show on Sunday so I do not know the results.  Sorry.

A few of us stayed on for The Drogheda Show on the 3rd September.  Jean Brown took green Star Dog.  Janette Phillips took Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed.

I would like also to congratulate Ella and Ruth Ashe on their wins with their Border Collies.

Also all our friends Scottish, English and Irish on their wins this year.
